Verlando Small To Provide Wedding Bliss

Brides and grooms expect nothing but bliss on their wedding day, and that is exactly what 2013 Digicel Rising Stars winner Verlando Small hopes to provide by partnering with Zedoj Events and Weddings.
The saxophonist explained that he went in search of a wedding planner to team up with to help build his brand and Zedoj came up as the front-runner, especially after receiving the Wedding Wire 2014 Couples Choice Awards for Wedding Planning in Jamaica, which means the company is ranked among the top five per cent of over 200,000 wedding professionals islandwide.
"I got in touch with them and we decided to come up with some packages," he told The Sunday Gleaner.
While the package with Zedoj will launch officially in 2015, Small says it is available now for those who are interested.
CEO and co-founder of Zedoj Events and Weddings, Jodianne Murdock, explained that the partnership was a no-brainer, and they have already been getting requests for the wedding package with Small.
"We customise our weddings to fit our brides, and our brides are really excited to have him play at their weddings. It is a treat for our brides and grooms," she said.
However, she stressed that the package is not limited to weddings, as it is also available for corporate events, birthday parties, engagement parties and other events that Zedoj plans.
Pleased with the partnership, Small says it will be beneficial to both parties and will also build both brands.
"It will help me a lot. You can get so much exposure and it is work for me. It is good for networking because Zedoj has a lot of overseas clients, and if I can play for them and they are pleased, you never know where that might take you. Our main aim is to make sure our brides are satisfied," Small said.
Meanwhile, Small says he is currently working on singles and an EP that he plans to release next year. He says he will also be playing at gospel artiste Jermaine Edwards' four separate album launches later this month.
