So he popped the Big Question... What do you do next?

Bask in the moment, show off your ring, tell family and friends..

No need to rush into every little detail of planning your wedding in the 1st week.

SET THAT DATE

Once as you have calmed down a bit you should set a realistic date that allows you to plan properly for your big day. I would say 1 year from the engagement date gives you enough time to make all the decisons for your special day.

HELP!!!! I NEED A WEDDING BUDGET

Most brides have no clue on how to budget for a wedding so this leads you to the next step.

PLANS FOR THE WEDDING PLANNER

Your planner should help you to realise a budget that is suited to the amount of guests you would like to invite and type of wedding you want. They should be able to get you discounts and special rates from their preferred vendors that you would not have received on your own.

THE OFFICIAL INVITE

It is extremely importatnt to discuss how many guests you intend on inviting with your fiance. This number will need to fall right in line with your wedding budget. Be prepared to argue and possibly lose a few friends... This is the reality and hardest part of the Wedding Planning process. Be realistic with your finances and guest list.

LEAVE THE STRESS TO THE BEST...

Your planner is employed to take on all the stress of your wedding and shelter you from the Bridezilla madness... Take the time to choose your dress and style your birdesmaids. Wedding Planning should be fun so don't take on a second full time job with the fulltime stress... Leave it to the professionals.
